* I will inform you of any vacation time a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

*I will inform you of any sick/personal days as soon as possible by text message or phone call. Please check your phones when you get up before leaving for my home. I check my phone  when I get up too, so text anytime if your child won't be attending. ( my cell sound is off after 930pm and turns back on at 7:30 am.)

Pick up/drop off

*Drop off / Pick up is at the front door unless we are outside. Please only one family at a time in the cubby room. If you will be later than your usual pick up time please text me as I do have kids ready for regular  pick up.

*I will not release your child to anyone I don’t know and they need to be on your pick up permission list. Those picking up will require to show me photo identification before releasing your child.  I will not release a child if the person picking up does not have photo identification.

*If someone comes to pick up your child and they are not listed as a pickup person (even if I know them)  I will not release your child until I have contacted a parent for confirmation.

Termination of contract: 4 weeks notice at minimum by the parent/guardian is to be provided to Tammy. Payment by the parent/guardian is due for the notice period regardless of whether or not the child is in attendance for care or not. Tammy reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without notice for non-payment of fees or at her discretion No notice required and no refunds.

*Parents are required to supply all necessary supplies for their child. Please label if possible. (Drinking cup, sleep sac, extra clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, baby food, soothers, sunscreen etc.)

*Parents are required to send appropriate  labeled clothing supplies for playing outdoors; hats, gloves, snow pants, sunscreen, bathing suit, little swimmers, water shoes

Disciplining: depends on the situation. Redirection is the first choice. 123 Magic is used (to stop or start a behavior) and time outs are also used ( 1 minute per their age). Zero tolerance for hitting or any physical abuse activity. Therefore if a child is physical with anyone, it results in an automatic break/time out. We always talk about what is right and wrong.

Nap/ rest time: All children are put for a rest /nap after lunch for a minimum one hour.

Illness Policy: PLEASE KEEP SICK CHILDREN HOME. See Health Policy page. One sick child in daycare begins a continuous circle of children being sick

Pets: This is a pet friendly home. Zoey is a Yorkshire terrier dog (non shedding). I do not allow the children to play with Zoey as she is a bit temperamental.

*Potty training can be practiced upon discussion. Potty training sheet.

Tammy holds the right to refuse any child and/or send any child home.

What Your Fees are Paying For: On top of loving, quality child care and a reserved spot for your child, your fees cover costs for things like first aid training, police check, craft supplies, meals and snacks, toys and equipment indoors and out, bedding, extra dishes, sanitation and cleaning supplies, special treats, etc.  They also pay for furniture and beds for the daycare as well as the cost of cleaning, upkeep and replacement of that furniture.  They pay for additional usage of utilities such as water and electricity, for extra loads in the washer, dryer and dishwasher, hydro for keeping the home cooler in the summer and gas keeping us warmer in the winter than if the house was empty all day.  They pay for repairs and maintenance of the toys, appliances and household items as well as home renovations and improvements relating to the daycare. On top of all of this there is also maintenance of the outdoors such as safety features( fence), melting snow salt toys, lawn care, snow removal etc
